Firebirds Player Tryouts Set For Saturday

LOUISVILLE, KY-- The Louisville Firebirds announced today that the team will host local player tryouts in Louisville on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00 am. 

Open tryouts offer prospective players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Firebird coaches and UFL personnel while they compete to earn an invitation to the Firebirds team’s training camp in March.

The Firebirds recently announced the appointment of the team's new Head Football Coach Jason Coleman. Coach Coleman and his staff will be on hand to conduct the tryout.

Players that have previous registered for a Firebirds tryout need not to reapply. Previously registered players name and information has already been added to the registration list for next week's event.

Louisville Tryout

• Saturday, February 18th, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm EST (10:00 pm check-in)
• Lynn Family Sports Vision Training Center, 801 Edith Rd, Louisville, KY 40206
• $65 pre-registration fee

Applicants for this year’s local tryout must be eligible to play in the UFL and are encouraged to pre-register by submitting the registration, release, and health information authorization forms along with a $65 nonrefundable fee and a $80 at the gate fee.
